KCACTF REGION 1 Conference 58

January 27 - 31, 2026

Albany Hilton Conference Center

Albany, NY

This Year's Hosts Are:

Siena University

Siena University is a private, liberal arts university located just outside of Albany, New York. Founded in 1937, Siena offers a close-knit and inclusive campus community with more than 40 undergraduate majors, several graduate programs, and a strong focus on hands-on, real-world learning.

The Theatre Major at Siena launched in 2023 and provides intensive, practical training in acting, directing, design, and stage management. Students participate in a full season of productions and have the opportunity to showcase their work at regional and national festivals like KCACTF. The program emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and professional development and is an ideal next step for transfer students pursuing a four-year degree in theatre.

Siena also offers a Theatre Minor, introduced in Fall 2025 and open to students of any major. The minor recognizes the academic and professional value of performance, design, and working within a production team, whether students are planning careers in the arts or in other fields like business, STEM, or education.

Siena welcomes all students: undergraduates, transfer students, and graduate students, with flexible academic pathways across the liberal arts, sciences, and business.
