NPP New Play Dramaturgs will experience the journey from page to stage of a brand-new play from the National Playwriting Program (NPP). Dramaturgs will collaborate with playwright, director and actors on a public reading of the play. Dramaturgs can expect to meet with the playwright and director twice before festival begins, and expect to be asked to provide actor packets, virtual displays, or other dramaturgical interventions. Dramaturgs will be provided with the list of plays that will be presented and rank the top three selections of plays on which they would like to work.
