Members of the Student Advisory Board meet regularly to discuss the priorities of the students within Region 1 and communicate regularly with the Leadership Board.

This newly formed group is actively seeking students to represent their school and the interests of performers, designers, technicians, directors, playwrights, arts leaders, members of underrepresented groups and more. At this time, one student representative per school affiliated with KCACTF will be accepted.

Your role as a student representative will be to become the link between your school and the KCACTF Region One Student Advisory Council for the 2021 Regional Festival. You will be expected to attend a handful of regularly scheduled meetings, or watch a recording of those meetings within up to 48 hours post release, in order to maintain your role, and to receive important information for your school. 

Qualifications: Students must be enrolled at least part time in an institution of higher learning. They should be in good academic standing and be generally permitted by their institution to participate in extra-curricular activities.

We are seeking members that represent a diverse array of lived experiences, including, but not limited to race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, gender identity, educational background and more.
